How can we sequester CO2 with the help of Nature? Mankind has removed 50% of the Forests during the past 200 years. The Forests have been called the lungs of the Earth. We must ask ourselves how well could we function with only half of our lungs. With Sustainable Forestry a replacement proceedure is necessary. Sustainable Forestry supports the Indigenous population and their needed incomes. The use of Orchard Trees can provide Indigenous people a harvested procuct to eat or take to markets for trade. The Orchard will provide Carbon Sequestration and food that is needed or a cash crop to buy other food as well as goods and services.
Biomass is stored Solar Energy. Biomass can recover it's emissions with new growth. The energy can be available 24/7 as needed. Other plants can provide other necessary things such as nutrition. We need to be mindful of the growing population and conserve our resources. Efficient use of Water is important with such technology as Drip Irrigation with Pumps and Renewable Energy to power it.
